Terms of Service
Last updated: March 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of CrowdShuffle, operated by Eightfold Inc. ("we," "us," or "our"). By using CrowdShuffle, you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using CrowdShuffle, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
2. Description of Service
CrowdShuffle is a music festival discovery platform that provides:
- Personalized artist recommendations based on your Spotify listening history.
- Festival browsing, comparison, and lineup exploration.
- Schedule building and playlist creation tools.
- Squad features for coordinating with friends at festivals.
- Travel planning information including hotels, flights, and weather.
3. Accounts and Authentication
CrowdShuffle uses Spotify OAuth for login. We do not store your Spotify password. When you log in, you authorize us to access certain Spotify data (top artists, top tracks, recently played) as described in our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Spotify account. You can revoke CrowdShuffle's access at any time through your Spotify account settings.
4. User Conduct
When using CrowdShuffle, you agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the service.
- Abuse our API or attempt to circumvent rate limits.
- Impersonate other users or misrepresent your identity.
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the service's infrastructure.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service.
5. Intellectual Property
The CrowdShuffle name, logo, and brand are the property of Eightfold Inc. AI-generated festival images used on the platform are owned by Eightfold Inc.
Share cards and other user-generated content created through CrowdShuffle may be freely shared by the user who created them.
Festival names, artist names, and associated trademarks belong to their respective owners.
6. Disclaimer of Accuracy
Festival data may not be 100% accurate. Lineups change, set times get updated, and festivals can be cancelled or rescheduled. CrowdShuffle pulls data from public sources and does its best to stay current, but we cannot guarantee the accuracy of any festival information.
Recommendations are generated algorithmically based on your Spotify data. They reflect listening patterns, not editorial opinions. Your actual experience at a festival may differ from what our scores suggest.
7. Affiliate Links
CrowdShuffle includes affiliate links for hotels, flights, car rentals, and tickets. When you click these links and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. See our Affiliate Disclosure for details.
8. Limitation of Liability
CrowdShuffle is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Eightfold Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.
Our total liability for any claim related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to use CrowdShuffle (which is currently $0, since the service is free).
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to CrowdShuffle at any time, for any reason, without notice. You may stop using the service at any time.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in Texas.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of CrowdShuffle after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
